Objectives

We were founded in 1983 as the governing body for Deaf and Hard of hearing (DHH) golfers in England. We are recognised by UK Deaf Sport, World Deaf Golf Federation and England Golf.

We organise golf events for players of all abilities and we are responsible for selecting plyers on merit to play internationally for England.

Our long term aims is to work with partners to create a world class system of golf for DHH people, regardless of their communication needs.

Increasing participation, equal opportunties for all, sustainable systems and high performance as our context to promote the awareness of Deaf Golf and demonstrate the ability of sport to transcend barriers and serve as a vehicle for social and sport inclusion for children and adults who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

Activities

We organise 4 - 5 golf events each year, for members and non-members alike.

We are working with American Golf, a golf retail company to create more opportunties for new players to get involved in the sport.
