Objectives

Emmaus Cambridge is one of 29 Emmaus communities in the UK. We provide a home, a community and meaningful work for over 40 formerly homeless people (companions) by operating a social enterprise. We take donations of second hands goods from the public and organisations and resell/recycle them in our shop, thereby providing work for our companions and an income to support our community.

Activities

At our site near Cambridge we have accommodation for our companions, a warehouse, shop, cafe and gardens. We sell pre-loved furniture, clothes, books, refurbished computers, bric a brac and many other items. Our renowned cafe offers a wide range of refreshments, including hot lunches and cakes. We even sell our own honey
