Objectives

Ultimately we wish to provide accommodation, training and employment for formerly homeless people.  The homelessness situation is spiralling within the country and especially in our local area of Bradford and the negative effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the economy are further aggravating the problem.  By offering an Emmaus Community this will assist formerly homeless people to get work in our social enterprise and receive counselling and support to restore their self-confidence and self-respect.   We are a secular charity and our 'companions' are encouraged to stay for as long or as short a time as they feel they need.

Activities

We have an ebay shop and a Charity Superstore on Cross Lane in Bradford.  We sell donated preloved items of furniture, clothes, books, bric a brac etc., thereby raising funds to build an Emmaus Community.
