Objectives

We are a village hall in heart of the local community, offering rooms for hire to local businesses, charities, voluntary groups and individuals for recreation or business use. We also organise and run events for the local community such as a scarecrow trail, seasonal fairs, quiz and curry events, seniors lunch club, knitting club, childrens' craft and film sessions and discos.

Activities

Our hall is a hub for the local community. We estimate that up to 1,500 users attend the hall each year, both regular attendees plus individuals accessing our community events and other ad hoc meetings/activities. We have an amazing range of hirers offering activities for all age groups, from babies to older people, including fitness and gym classes, dance, coffee mornings, church, book club, ladies groups, WI, theatre and art club.

As well as regular hirers we also offer party hire across the main hall plus the small rooms, regular Quiz and curry nights, seasonal fayres (christmas, summer etc), selling markets (e.g. children's/baby market), discos arranged by the hall, film events, craft mornings for children during school holidays, and holiday activities booked by external hirers.
