Objectives

Our organisation support families into employment, education and training, we offer training in community spaces to ensure inclusivity and access. Elmhouse also ensure that the time our classes start and end give parents an opportunity to not attend due to childcare cost.

Elmhouse Training provide Level 1-4 Accredited courses,, the courses we provided looks for gaps into the market and where there is a lack of female in a profession we also deliver these courses.

Our aim is also to ensure that we train outstanding education practitioners that will deliver positive outcomes for children.

The majority of our clients are form BAME, parents on benefits and low income earners.  Our organisation impacts in many ways;-

By giving learners skills that can lead them into employment and Further Education

By giving the learner soft and hard skills to ensure they develop in their career but also in their own personal development

By linking learners with employers to ensure they are employed and have the skills to be competent employees

Elmhouse have a generational impact, by delivering the services parents are able to increase family income they can also use the skills learnt to become better parents

By making parents more involve in their children education and have higher expectations of their children

We offer our learners counselling and self development if and when needed

We organise with learners community volunteer opportunities e.g. donating christmas present for children on the Tulse Hill Estate, Taking part in Christmas homeless drives
