Objectives

Eden Care UK provides Befriending and advocacy support to vulnerable individuals from the BAME community who are terminally ill / reaching End of Life, who have no support network. This group is the most overlooked by the mainstream society, left to live their last months alone, with no one to turn to. Our most valuable asset is our dedicated team of volunteers, whose Befriending services put them at the forefront of the much needed social change.

Activities

Eden Care UK recruits, vets and trains dedicated volunteers, who start Befriending as soon as the enrolment process is complete. Our Befrienders are looked after and supported throughout, and EC team is always available to answer any queries.

Eden Care UK receives a lot of referrals for vulnerable people who need Befriending support, so we are always on the lookout for more Befrienders.
