Objectives

East Sussex Recovery Alliance became a charity in August 2018. It supports those in recovery from substance misuse offering a safe place to engage in activities and support with people who have been through the same lived experience as themselves. ESRA encourages and supports people to maintain their recovery

The majority of staff and volunteers are in recovery themselves

Our vision is to empower, build confidence, encourage responsibility and promote both physical and mental wellbeing in all those in recovery from substance misuse and the families supporting someone who is effected by substance misuse.

We believe in:

  • trust,
  • honesty,
  • transparency,
  • responsibility,
  • building on people's strengths,
  • being non -judgemental ,
  • respectful
  • open-mindedness
