The East End Women's Museum records, researches, shares and celebrates the stories of east London's women. It aims to represent and amplify voices of women, particularly marginalised women. It seeks to challenge gender stereotypes and inequalities, and to inspire people, particularly local women and girls.
It puts on exhibitions, events and education activities around women's stories, past and present. It is working on moving into its first permanent home in Barking town centre in 2021.
