East African Playgrounds aims to enhance the lives of children across Uganda by developing children’s learning opportunities and environments whilst providing valuable employment.

-To allow children free access to a safe place to play and develop
-To allow children a space to develop their creative and inter-personal skills
-To give young men and women the skills to have a prosperous future

The charities objectives are to train young men and women in Uganda to become professional builders and welders; to then use their new skills to build high quality playgrounds across Uganda. These playgrounds enable the children to make the most of their childhood by developing their social, mental and physical selves through play. The charity provides arts and play programs at child care provisions to emphasise the importance of play and help the children develop
