Objectives

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals in Birmingham by creating opportunities for their social, physical, and economic well-being. We support individuals to deal with things like accessing welfare benefits, manage debt advise guide and support with housing rights, consumer problems, problems at work, immigration problems and getting services from the council. DUJ Advice Center plays a crucial role in impacting people's lives by offering guidance and support in various aspects. We provide well-informed, empathetic, and constructive advice, it can significantly influence individuals' decision-making, emotions, and behaviour. We strive to empower individuals, encourage personal growth, and help them navigate challenges effectively. 

Activities

At DUJ, we meet our objectives through a systematic and goal-oriented approach. Firstly, we define clear and measurable objectives that align with our values and long-term vision, We break these objectives down into manageable steps or tasks, creating a roadmap to follow. We prioritise tasks based on their importance and urgency, ensuring that we allocate our time and resources effectively. Regularly monitoring our progress and adjusting our strategies when necessary allows us to stay on track. Additionally, we seek out resources, information, and support that can aid us in achieving our objectives whether it's through self-learning, collaboration, or seeking advice from trusted sources. Persistence, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement are key elements in our journey to meet our goals
