We support locally-led, community development organisations that operate in the Volta Region of Ghana. Our programmes fall under six thematic areas; safe sanitation, quality education, healthy communities, environmental sustainability, arts and culture, and economic development. Our programmes impact communities holistically, providing opportunities and support for the youth, to ensuring women and the elderly can live a life of dignity and fulfilment. Dreams outside of the communities we work with are hard to achieve, we endeavour to make those dreams a reality through our beneficiary NGOs: Dream Big Ghana NGO, Denyigba Lorlor NGO and Dzita Turtle Protection.
Issues that rural Ghanaian populations experience are best solved by those living them first hand. That is why our operational objectives are to facilitate change in our communities through locally-led and founded development organisations that put local issues and beliefs at the forefront of their work. Our ability to provide funding for sanitation and hygiene, education, sporting opportunities, artistic and cultural programmes, whilst creating jobs simultaneously, would not be effectively carried out without local leadership and decision making. Investing in local skills is at the forefront of our objectives, to ensure the next generation have local leaders to aspire to.
