Vacancies are filled from the class of beneficiaries: people in financial hardship who are inhabitants of the town of Dorchester or elsewhere in the county of Dorset.

Dorchester Almshouses provides homes for life for residents who meet our eligibility criteria.  This enables residents to settle and improves their sense of stability, security and wellbeing.
