Objectives

DAVSS is a community based charity in West Kent offering vital and practical support to anyone experiencing domestic abuse, men or women and whatever their level of risk. We will explore all options open to them to enable them to make informed decisions and stay safe.

Activities

We offer free, confidential support through:

  • Face to face support services, meeting you at safe locations near you
  • Helping you to identify the risks in your situation.
  • Working with you to produce a safety plan so that you feel safer 
  • Suggesting choices and practical options tailored to your situation
  • Offering to accompany you to court or attending meetings with you
  • Putting you in touch with other agencies which can help you
  • Assisting with paperwork for people with language or literacy difficulties
  • Listening without bias or judgement.
