Objectives

The Charity was initially set up to help fund those charities who had previously received funds from the Presidents Club, and who would face a future decline in their income. The Trustees also raised funds to support a number of charities with diversity and inclusion aims. The Trustees expect from 2020 to move to their long term aim of funding primarily charities which support their social mobility, diversity and inclusion aims. The Trustees are particularly interested in what makes a real difference to achieving those aims and providing evidence and examples to support that.

Activities

We were delighted that a number of organisations supported the initial aims of the charity by arranging events across the UK. We are currently working on other ways of raising funds in this digital age, and where we do arrange events, we try to make sure those events are consistent with our overall objectives. We have now made grants to support a number of important and impactful projects at the charities we are able to help fund.
