Objectives

We provide social discovery groups, peer counselling & unique opportunities for young adults with mental health, drug or alcohol misuse experience from unemployed or BAME backgrounds.  We build community through our weekly social discovery groups at privately-hired cafe’s & restaurants. These easy-going sober gatherings provide an opportunity to make new friends, get feedback and grow.  People can also develop self-management skills & further knowledge through our unique group ‘discovery games’ which feature at every event.

Our mission is to offer down-to-earth, non-academic social experiences to support anyone on their brave discovery journey.

Activities

A refreshing approach

Our small weekly social discovery groups are held in cafes and restaurants, and are easy-going & informal. We encourage communal discussion and social questions.

Gain knowledge & skills

We develop knowledge & self-management skills through our unique group discovery games. These simple activities are visual, creative, and easy to get involved in.

Peer counselling & phone calls

Our discovery volunteers have lived it too. Once you’ve attended a few groups we can hook you up with in-person discovery chats & phone calls. This is an opportunity to talk with a dedicated volunteer about what you want in your life.

Opportunities & connections

We have a curated network of recommendations & opportunities such as education, volunteering, therapy & more. We work with you to help you decide what direction you want to go in, and how you are going to get there.
