Objectives

In the current 2021-2026 plan we have highlighted three main objectives:

To focus our resources on our mission is to help people overcome social, economic, physical and emotional barriers to enjoying a full and independent life, by delivering quality front line services.

Generate sufficient net income to invest in essential services

Collaborate with partners ,to improve and remove the barriers to independent and inclusive living 

Activities

To meet these objectives DABD delvers the following services:

Independent Travel Training, helping the users of the service to participate in all aspects of community life

Kids Patch, providing respite for families with disabled children by providing club based activities

Personal Care, helping people with care needs to get the support they require

Transport Services to complement travel training offering the support where there are challenges to physical mobility 

Welfare Benefits, provides form filling and money advice including support with emergency assistance.

Clubs and groups, Golden years supports older people and helps to reduce isolation
