Our beneficiaries in London are local people, children and elders, resident in an area of high urban deprivation.
We support many people on low incomes, people with chronic medical conditions and disabilities, ESOL speakers and a large number of struggling migrants, people facing homelessness and poverty,, as well as local people seeking community venues for special events and educational/cultural groups.
We are a church network that runs community services, and several community centres in London. We provide educational, cultural activities and welfare services e.g. we run DHI Education and Arts, which supports primary age children with homework. We run and host a range of cultural events during the year for our diverse BAME communities. Destiny Outreach is our Outreach Project serving the most vulnerable and excluded people through hot meals, social support, Open Access Welfare Cafe, our referral only Wellbeing Cafe, welfare casework and Cost of Living service.
