Derbyshire Netball Association is managed by the County Management Board (CMB). The members of the Board work to ensure that netball is strategically placed to access support and new initiatives that could benefit the County. The CMB oversees County programmes such as County leagues, Player Development Programmes, Officiating, Coaching and club support We work to support our members in accordance with England Netball frameworks. We develop strategies for the sport working with our regional team and England Netball for the future of netball for women and girls.
Our board meets 6 times a year and we review such items as our delivery programmes, strategy, finances, safeguarding, netball development in our county etc. We work with the East Midlands region to support competition and undertake netball player development for junior netballers. We work with our elite netball team Loughborough Lightning to develop our players further. We work with netball clubs across the county to support them and connect them where needed with England Netball support.
