Objectives

Denton Youth & Community Project (DYCP), provides local residents of all ages with a large range of activities, clubs and services. We support over 1,000 disadvantaged children, young people and their families, in and around West Denton. For the past 14 years, we have played a significant role in the local community by providing essential services that have been established as a result of beneficiaries identifying their own needs and working with the project to develop appropriate responses.

By delivering our activities and services, we aim to achieve a number of key outcomes which include: -
Children, young people and their families will have improved, healthier lifestyles and will play more active roles within their community.
Children and young people will become more engaged and will develop social skills, self-esteem, increased confidence, self-respect and respect for their community.
Young people and adults will have improved educational and employment prospects due to increased learning and developing new skills.
