Dementia Friendly Keighley is playing a vital role in creating such a supportive community and awareness of dementia, by working towards becoming a dementia friendly community.
Dementia Friendly Keighley is a registered charity with a trustee board supported by project workers and invaluable volunteers.
Dementia Friendly Keighley over the following:
• Provide information on Dementia and related support groups and activities.
• Signpost to activities/services that support people & families living with dementia
• Provide up to date information on events and available Dementia Friends Information
• Provide a friendly welcome for people who may have questions about dementia
• Update local people on the opportunities
Dementia charity would like Trustees of all backgrounds to support the overall running of this small but essential organisation.
