Objectives

Daybreak Oxford's services are for people suffering from a dementia. They are not ready to move to residential care, but they and their carers benefit from our clubs. Members of our clubs enjoy being in a friendly, caring and safe place and their carers get valuable respite from the demands of looking after a dependent with dementia.

Activities

We run three clubs in the Oxford area: Rosewood in Greater Leys, The Limes in North Oxford and The Lilacs in Kidlington. Each club has trained and experienced staff who offer a wide range of activities for members, for example: singing and dancing, Pilates (seated), quizzes and board games, even a visit to St Giles Fair was managed last September. We take particular pride in our catering: our members not only have tea and coffee, but also a two course hot lunch, served on the premises.
