Who we work with

We work primarily in the not-for-profit and public sectors in the UK. We have worked with charities and social enterprises in sectors such as health, housing, arts, domestic violence, technology, older peoples’ services as well as with local communities, networks and cross-sector partnerships. Our clients to date have included:

  • Not-for-profit organisations: charities, social enterprises, communities, co-operatives
  • Housing associations (Wales) and Registered Providers of social housing (England)
  • Public sector
  • Funders: charitable trusts and foundations, public sector grant programmes
  • Ethical businesses

Our vision is of a world enriched and empowered through data

To achieve our vision we’re making it our mission to enable organisations to use data for better decisions and greater impact.

Our aims are to:

  • Gather, explore and analyse data for organisations: We design and deliver new research; identify the right questions and approaches to data collection; analyse existing available data; deliver imaginative consultation and engagement; and source existing open and public data and evidence.
  • Build organisations’ data skills and capabilities: We help leaders understand how their organisations are doing with data and how to improve. We advise on data strategy, management, protection, analysis and communication. We enable organisations to improve data for decision making,  measure their impact, and improve equality and diversity in the workplace through a combination of consultancy and training.
  • Promote the importance and value of data for good: We champion data for social good by facilitating dialogue about data; sharing best practice; influencing funders and policy makers; running conferences and networking events, and public speaking.
