Objectives

Dartmouth Caring is a local charity that exists to help those in need, the elderly and the vulnerable within Dartmouth and surrounding villages.

Our aim is to enable people to live happy and vibrant lives, connecting those who are isolated and improving health and well-being within our community. We do this by offering a range of different services and activities for those individuals to partake in if they wish to.

Providing Essential Care:

We work alongside health and social care providers and other voluntary and community sector organisations.

A Local Charity:

We are a registered charity, funded by donations with a small contribution from public funds.

A Dedicated Team:

We are fortunate in having both permanent professional staff and a large band of dedicated volunteers.

  • Visually Impaired Reading group

  • Banking support – getting on line
  • Signposting of trades – gardeners, handymen, men with vans, etc.
