The Sea Cadet Corps is a uniformed youth activity, that is not pre-service, open to all young people aged 10 to 18. The aim of the corps is to help young people towards responsible adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct, through a programme of educational and sporting activities, using a nautical theme based on the customs of the Royal Navy.
Our charity develops kids into impressive, independent individuals by offering them practical skills and soft skills, equipping them for modern life. All skills they acquire through rowing, sailing, polishing boots, and cooking for the team, whilst on a boat, or on land. Positive outcomes, maximum impact, and combating loneliness, isolation, and mental health are integral to our activities and interaction with our young people.
