The Daneford Trust is a small charity with educational aims. We aim to develop educational and life chances of young people between 15-30 years from the London Boroughs and certain nations in Africa, Asia and the Caribbean through support for global volunteering and youth/school exchange.
We have 40 years of experience of supporting and creating global education for young people and youth, particularly those from 'non traditional' backgrounds. We seek to promote equal opportunity, particularly within the diverse urban environment.
We organise a programme of support and training for volunteers between 18-30 years old, from the London boroughs and certain nations in Africa, Asia and the Caribbean.
We have a support programme for community linking exchanges, organised within schools, colleges and the youth and community services.
We offer training seminars and briefings for young people, teachers and youth workers and other practitioners.
