Cumberland Lodge is an educational foundation and residential conference venue in Windsor Great Park. As a charity we promote the exchange of ideas of fresh debate on social and ethical issues. We bring people together to address the causes and effects of social divisions, to help build more tolerant, peaceful and inclusive societies.
We foster learning and creative thinking by running subsidised student study retreats, conferences and seminars with leading figures in public life, as well as mentoring schemes and scholarships for early career researchers, and educational and cultural events for our local community in Windsor. We host about 4,000 students from universities across the UK each year, as well as delegates from professional organisations such as the NHS, the police, medical schools, the Inns of Court, think tanks and learned societies, NGOs, government bodies, and representatives from academia, community groups and the world of business.
