Objectives

CPRE campaigns for a sustainable future for the English countryside. It highlights threats and promotes positive solutions seeking to influence public opinion and decision makers at every level. CPRE is a network with over 200 district groups, a branch in every county, a group in every region and a national office, making us a powerful combination of effective local action and strong national campaigning.

Activities

CPRE Northern Lincolnshire is one of 43 county branches campaigning locally on a broad range of environmental issues.

Our current activities include:
Planning issues
Renewable energy
Litter – as part of the national 'Stop the Drop' campaign
Running an environmental award scheme
Organising the annual Best Kept Village competition
Running an annual conference

We have some very committed and experienced volunteers and a part time development officer.

We are seeking a Chair who is prepared to work as part of a team to recruit more volunteers and raise the profile of CPRE so we can continue to have a strong voice in the county. We would welcome interest from people with experience of the voluntary sector or being a trustee who can support the volunteers to campaign effectively.
