Objectives

We offer free advice, information and support to Coventry residents via outreach services. We hold the Advice Quality Standard for our debt and welfare benefits advice, a nationally recognised quality mark for public advice organisations. We are members of AdviceUK and our debt advice is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Our aim is to combat poverty and financial exclusion.

Activities

Coventry Independent Advice Service is a charity offering free advice, information and support to Coventry residents.  We hold the Advice Quality Standard, a national quality mark for organisations providing free, independent advice to members of the public. 

Our service is confidential and our skilled advisers can help with things like:

  • Identifying entitlement to benefits and helping with making claims
  • Helping people to sort out debt or other money problems
  • Challenging decisions on benefit claims
  • Giving basic advice and information about housing and other issues
  • Helping people find other kinds of support.
