Corton House Ltd is a charitable Christian based organisation based in Norwich, it is overseen by a voluntary Board of Directors and managed by a Chief Executive and professional staff. The company is a Cooperative and Community Benefit Society registered with the FCA and has exempt charity status with HMRC. It provides residential care and independent living units in accordance with Christian values. It recognises the rights, privacy, dignity and independence of residents and tenants, allowing them to live to their full physical, spiritual and emotional potential.
Corton House Ltd runs two facilities:
Corton House, a 42 bed residential care home with a mission to provide excellent loving care and support for older people. It is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). In its latest CQC report published in September 2019, it was rated ‘Requires Improvement’.
Brakendon Close, an independent living scheme comprising of a mixture of 51 flats and bungalows, finished to the highest standards. It is designed to provide for persons of pensionable age, who are physically capable of leading an independent life but enjoy the companionship and security of being part of a community. The company is a registered social landlord with the Homes and Communities Agency and a member of the National Housing Federation.

As a care provider for older people, with 51 homes for independent living accommodation and residential care for 42 people we have to ensure that we provide loving care to our residents and have a safe and secure community for all residents, tenants and staff.
