We are a Congregation of Religious Sisters. The Sisters are beneficiaries of the charity and the charity exists to advance religion, relieve poverty and suffering, and advance education. The charity operates Holy Cross Hospital in Surrey, a specialist hospital dedicated to caring for adults with severe and complex neurological disabilities or illnesses, often as a result of brain injury or spinal cord injury, or advanced stage of a degenerative illness. The hospital aims to achieve the best possible quality of life for those patients referred to it (usually from the NHS), and to give the best possible support to the patients' families. The charity also supports projects overseas, via grants to Sisters working in countries such as India, Nepal and Cameroon, to support schools and convents in very deprived areas.
