Objectives

We advance health by promoting high standards in healing for the public benefit. In particular, by providing information on healing to the general public; supporting and providing education and training in healing; and establishing and maintaining proper standards of practice in healing.

Through our healing members, we enable the general public to access the complementary therapy of Healing and other therapies; empowering self-responsibility within health and wellbeing.

Activities

We promote research into the methods and effects of healing and publish the useful results of such research; we support and promote high standards in healing and other complementary therapies; we promote a code of conduct relating to healing and other therapies; we act as a central body in co-ordinating and representing the interest of member organisations service the cause of healing, supporting and advising them along the way.

We collaborate with other charities, exchanging information and advice and collaborate on initiatives such as the annual Healing Awareness Week.

We work with agencies, including therapy regulators CNHC and GRCCT; Skills for Health; various Universities; and the Government to advance the practice of Healing.

We run a register of complementary therapists.

We offer distant healing to the general public.

We run CPD events for our members and hold our Aspects of Healing showcase at the NEC annually, offering free talks, immersive workshops and healing sessions, which often attract people that have never received Healing previously.
