Community Action Malvern provides a range of services to support the local community in Malvern Hills, which is a particularly rural area within Worcestershire with limited public transport and an ageing demographic, and our mission is to reduce rural and social isolation for local residents, whether as service users or volunteers
Our Volunteer Centre supports charities and community groups with promotion of opportunities for volunteers to engage in front-line service delivery, and our Men’s Shed helps to reduce low-level mental health issues in a safe environment offering friendship alongside practical occupation with woodworking and other tools. Community Transport provides the basis of our remaining projects which combine transport and social inclusion to improve the health and well-being of predominantly elderly local residents in Malvern Hills.
