Objectives

The Clockhouse Community Centre (Clockhouse) has been an active Community Centre in the Woolwich Riverside Ward for many years, working in a variety of ways to support the local community.

It is a central hub of the local community, providing affordable hall and room hire for leisure, sports and arts activities, community groups, training, meetings and private functions. In addition, the centre has office space that is rented by long term tenants. There is also a cafe that is open to the community providing nutritious low cost meals.

Our area has some of the highest levels of deprivation in our borough and we aim to serve people at times in their lives when they need us most - hosting groups for older people, new immigrants, parents and their young children, support groups for special needs
