We aim to use the iconic structure to bring tourism and regeneration to this deprived area. We aim to encourage our young people to explore careers in engineering, science and technology and new entrepreneurs to set new businesses creating employment opportunities for local people.
We need professionals from all works of life to assist in supporting the project and forming part of the trustees/management structure going forward.
We lobby politicians and heritage groups; we undertake engagement events to encourage an interest in mining heritage; we submit grant applications.
