Objectives

Clearly Speaking is an approachable, professional, caring support service for families and front-line professionals. We specialise in providing both help and advice, with services and intervention for those families living with special needs Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Aspersers Syndrome and all associated difficulties like D.A.M.P, ADHD, specific learning issues like Dyslexia as well as Tourette’s syndrome.

Clearly Speaking will ensure that all parents, carers, and young people up to the age of 25 can ‘self-refer' via our website and receive access to all the organisations specialist services free of charge. Families can also be referred by any of the local statutory agencies, GP, CAMs, Schools and nurseries, healthcare, social care, Connexions and youth advisory services etc… We have a success rate of 100% after 15 years running for tribunals ranging over hundreds of cases thanks to the hard work of our special needs consultant Janet Nicks.

Activities

We offer a range of practical, specialist clubs (Clearly Cool Clubs) and activities alongside our advice, guidance and key worker intervention and support. We will always aim to return your calls and emails however due to our special needs director being on sick leave we do not offer a drop in service until further notice. If you require advice and support, we are now offering limited booked appointments so please get in touch to arrange a time with our receptionist.
