City of Truro Sea Cadets & Royal Marines Cadets works with young people aged from 10 - 18. We provide them with experiences that are related to the Royal Navy and their traditions from things such as Sailing to Adventurous Training; Kayaking to Field Tactics. These experiences that we provide for our cadets help shape them in to well rounded young adults with a plethora of experience that will set them in good stead for the future.
We provide both our cadets and staff opportunities to gain a wide selection of qualifications not only in the Sea Cadets, but qualifications that transfer into the "real world" (RYA / Hill & Moorland Leader / DofE / BTEC / CVQO). It gives them the opportunity to travel, learn new life skills and meet hundreds of other young people going through the same Sea Cadet Journey.
