We help people overcome their problems, uphold their rights and create a fairer society. Our advice helps people out of and avoid crisis.
Our advice changes lives. It helps keep a roof over people’s heads, put food on the table, heat homes, understand rights, manage debts and help vulnerable people access vital support.
We’re a local, independent charity that is affiliated to, not funded by, the national Citizens Advice body. We need to raise over £100k each year from individual donations, local funders and project partners to deliver our services in Winchester District.
Using highly trained volunteers we provide information and advice to anyone about anything. We help some of those most in need. We help people with money issues, we help people stay in their homes and avoid homelessness; we help people who are terminally ill and affected by cancer. Our advice services can be accessed in different ways. All of it is free. We provide face-to-face advice either in our office locations or in outreach or peoples homes, we provide telephone advice and a web chat service.. We value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination wherever we see it.
