Objectives

Citizens Advice Telford & the Wrekin helps people find a way forward

We can all face problems that seem complicated or intimidating. At Citizens Advice we believe no one should have to face these problems without good quality, independent advice.

That’s why we’re here: to give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward - whoever they are, and whatever their problem.

Activities

The advice and support given at Citizens Advice Telford & the Wrekin is holistic, helping people facing multiple disadvantage to turn their lives around. We aim to empower clients to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to resolve their problems and prevent future problems and a cycle of financial hardship. We give people the knowledge and confidence they need to find their way forward - whoever they are, and whatever their problem. We provide free, independent, confidential, impartial advice to everyone living in the borough regardless of race, gender, sexuality, age, nationality, disability or religion. All of our services help people to resolve issues that present barriers to employment, including problems with housing, debt, welfare benefits, energy tariffs, relationships and many other issues people experience.
