Objectives

Citizens Advice Sefton provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities.  We value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination.  We aim to provide advice people need for the problems they face and improve the policies and practices that affect peoples lives. In  2018/19 we helped over 8,000 people and achieved income gains of over £5 million for clients.

Activities

We provide an advice and information service to members of the public face to face, by telephone and webchat. We undertake casework and representation for clients who are experiencing debt problems or need help to appeal welfare benefit decisions. We work in partnership with local agencies to tackle health inequalities by offering a social welfare advice service.
