North Warwickshire Citizens Advice provides information and advice to the people in North Warwickshire. Our service is free, independent, impartial and confidential. We advise on a wide range of enquiry areas such as Benefits, Debt, Housing, Employment, Consumer and Immigration. In 2016/17 we helped 2,925 clients with 11,687 issues. Income gained for clients through help with debt, benefits and budgeting was £581,180:00.
Our paid staff and volunteers offer advice through a variety of channels - face to face, phone and email. We have drop-in sessions at Atherstone and at Coleshill. Appointments are made for in-depth advice. With client's permission, we are able to act on their behalf by making contact with organisations and through negotiation. We assist clients with form filling and letter writing. We are able to signpost and refer clients to other organisations for specialist help.
