Objectives

Citizens Advice Croydon provides an information and advice service across a range of English Civil Law. In the main, enquiry areas covered are welfare benefits, money, finances and debt, housing, employment, consumer, immigration, family and personal, tax and utilities and other legal problems. Services provided are free, independent, confidential and impartial and the organisation promotes equality, challenges discrimination and values diversity. As well as providing individual acts of assistance to clients on their rights and responsibilities, Citizens Advice Croydon also works to improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives, both at a local level, and also at a national level by contributing to the evidence base collected nationally be Citizens Advice.
