Objectives

Citizens Advice is an independent service providing free, confidential and impartial advice to everybody regardless of race, gender, disability, sexuality, nationality, ethnicity, religion and belief. We advise on issues such as Benefits, Employment, Debt, Housing and Homelessness and Immigration.

Activities

We have offices in Dorchester, Gillingham, Sherborne, Weymouth and Portland where the general public can drop in and attend appointments for advice. We support clients with Universal Credit Claims.  We run and support other projects such as Macmillan Benefits, Syrian Refugee Project, Multiple Sclerosis Society and advice in GP Surgeries.  We are here to help and advise on a full range of issues and problems and we are impartial, independent, confidential and free. Our funding comes from a mixture of local authority funding, project sources and donations.
