Objectives

Cheshire West Citizens Advice (CWCA) is one of the UK’s largest local Citizens Advice services, covering Northwich, Chester, Ellesmere Port and Winsford.  Our aim is to ensure that people do not suffer unnecessarily because they do not understand their rights and responsibilities, or because they are unable to express their needs effectively.

Activities

Cheshire West Citizens Advice  employs 40 paid staff and 120 volunteers, and provides a wide range of advice and support for clients, including debt, benefits, health, family, consumer issues, energy,  employment rights, and housing. We  act impartially and confidentially, and act as an independent adviser, whose service is fee at the point of delivery. Our service is to help those who live in Cheshire West and Chester, but we will never turn anyone away. We help people in whichever way best suits them, face to face, telephone or over the internet.
