Objectives

Citizens Advice Broxbourne helps people overcome their problems and campaign on big issues when their voices need to be heard. We value diversity, champion equality, and challenge discrimination and harassment. We’re here for everyone. We provide advice on welfare benefits, housing, debt, employment, consumer rights, immigration and human rights for everyone in Broxbourne and the surrounding areas.

The borough of Broxbourne contains a mixed community, with some very affluent areas but also three of the top ten most deprived areas in Hertfordshire. Over the past 12 months we were able to assist over 1,330 people with 5,000 different problems, and achieve cash successes of £350,000 for them as a result of our help.

Activities

We provide face-to-face advice in Waltham Cross and Wormley, as well as targeted advice funded by the local housing association and the DWP.
