Our services are available to anyone, whoever they are and whatever their problem. We offer advice, support and information that is free, non-judgemental, independent and impartial on a range of enquiry areas, such as, benefits, debt, employment, consumer issues, housing and discrimination. We deliver a multi-channel advice service that gives people the knowledge and confidence to find a way forward. We also campaign to improve the policies that affect people’s lives by lobbying for change on behalf of our clients; we use their stories and collective evidence to demonstrate our impact. We work collaboratively with partners and statutory bodies to support our communities holistically.
We provide a multi-channel service that means our clients can access support digitally, remotely, in person at our offices and at outreach venues across the County Borough. We provide advice at all levels; from discrete information to full accredited casework at specialist level. We ensure that our business objectives align with the needs of our demographics and communities by engaging with our clients and using statistical profiling. We target those in need by ensuring we develop services that are accessible and supportive at the point of contact or referral from partners. We understand the advice needs of our communities and play an important role in sharing that understanding with stakeholders and funders. The problems our clients face do not occur in isolation; they have complex and layered life challenges. Last year we helped 5726 unique clients with a combined 62,000 issues and generated a total income gain of almost 3 million pounds for our clients.
