Objectives

Citizens Advice Birmingham is a local charity dedicated to serving the people of Birmingham by providing them with advice and information on a wide range of subjects.

We help many more people than we can directly support by campaigning. We use the evidence from our clients to challenge those in authority to change their policies and practices.

We value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination in all that we do. We respond to an individual's needs without regard to their age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, race or religion.

Activities

We provide the advice people need for the problems they face. We offer information and advice on a wide range of issues to those living or working in the Birmingham area.

Our service is free, confidential, independent and impartial. We do not judge people, persuade or tell them what they should do. We listen, explain all the options available and advise on the best course of action to take. It is about helping people to understand both their rights and responsibilities so they can make informed choices about the problems they face.
