Objectives

Citizens Advice Barnet was established in 1939. We are a registered charity (1065835) providing free, independent, confidential and impartial advice and guidance to people who live, work or study in the London Borough of Barnet, on their rights and responsibilities. It values diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination. The service aims: - To provide the advice people need for the problems they face - To improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives The service is available equally to everybody who seeks its help, regardless of race, gender, sexuality or disability. Citizens Advice Barnet is affiliated to Citizens Advice, which is the national association of Citizens Advice and the organisation is wholly independent.

Activities

Citizens Advice Barnet provides advice, information and support as well as improving policies and practices that affect people’s lives. We operate a Triage service for all those who live, work or study in the the London Borough of Barnet.
