Objectives

Circle of Comfort supports people following a life-changing diagnosis of cancer.  Using a network of oncology-trained complementary therapists, we provide funded treatments to patients in the comfort and safety of their own homes.

Unlike alternative medicine, complementary therapies are used alongside traditional medicine. Complementary therapies may help people:

  • feel better and improve their quality of life
  • feel less stressed, tense and anxious
  • sleep better
  • cope with cancer symptoms
  • cope with some of the side effects of their cancer treatment
  • feel more in control.

Activities

We currently provide clients with a course of four treatments.  Our trained therapists can offer massage, reflexology or aromatherapy to cancer patients. We accept self-referrals as well as those from health and social care and treat clients across Fife and Perthshire.
