CHUMS is a befriending and shopping service run by volunteers to help vulnerable people across Shropshire feel more confident and connected with their community.
Each of our volunteers is matched with a client that they visit for a couple of hours each week to offer company and/or practical help with their shopping needs. Some clients require their volunteer to go and do their shopping for them and others like to be accompanied out and around the shops for support.
Chums holds a monthly social group at Qube in Oswestry that is free of charge for clients and volunteers to attend where they can get involved with an activity.
