We work with homeless and marginalised people, running choirs across three (soon four!) cities. We aim to help our members make friends, build their confidence and skills and beat the circumstances that made them homeless in the first place.
We get fantastic results; 98% of our members report making friends at choir, with 96% reporting an increase in confidence. What we do is very simple, but it works!
We run weekly choir rehearsals in London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Brighton, Cardiff and Coventry, singing uplifting pop songs. Each rehearsal is followed by a hot meal cooked by teams of volunteers. We also run regular singing workshops in hostels, day centres and other services for vulnerable adults, and provide informal consultancy for others wishing to start up singing projects with marginalised people.
